Meet the NTS School Counselors
Meghan Neuberger
Hello! My name is Meghan Neuberger and I am thrilled to be a part of the counseling team at North Tahoe School. I have been a middle school counselor since 2006 and I absolutely love working with this age group. Before I started at NTS in 2018, I worked at a public middle school in Pacifica, CA for 12 years. I enjoy working with students both individually and in small groups. I also love going into classrooms and facilitating guidance lessons and restorative circles. I am trained in mindfulness and trauma-informed schools and I enjoy working with students from diverse backgrounds. My family and I relocated to Tahoe because we love the outdoors and the mountain community. We have two young kids and we are so happy to have the opportunity to raise our family in beautiful North Tahoe!

Jodie Schuster
My name is Jodie Schuster. I am very proud to be a school counselor at North Tahoe School. I have been a counselor at North Tahoe School since 2006. I love working with middle schoolers, supporting their social and emotional growth as they enter into the world of adolescence. I enjoy spending time with students individually, in the classroom, and in small groups. There is never a dull moment! I grew up in Tacoma, WA, completed my Bachelor's Degree at the University of Hawaii Hilo in 2002 and moved to Tahoe immediately after. I intended to return to Hawaii for graduate school but absolutely fell in love with Tahoe and decided to make it my forever home. I later earned my master's degree in school counseling at the University of Nevada Reno. My husband and I have two daughters who attend Kings Beach Elementary & North Tahoe School. As a family we love skiing, hiking, camping, and enjoying the Tahoe lifestyle. It makes my heart full to support the kids in our community as a school counselor and to raise my own children in such a beautiful and special community.
